Senior Traditional Midwife
Nakia Smith (Five)
With eight years of experience as a doula and ten years practicing traditional midwifery, she brings seasoned wisdom and compassionate care to every birth. Having supported over 100 families, she is dedicated to creating natural, meaningful, family-centered birth experiences. Passionate about homesteading, raising chickens, and homeschooling her children, she brings a nurturing spirit into her work.

Jade Blair
With four years as a doula and three years practicing traditional midwifery, her journey through birthwork deepened her passion for supporting families through sacred, empowered birth experiences. Known as an "auntie" within the community, she offers nurturing emotional support alongside grounded traditional wisdom. With a background in agriculture and a passion for plant-based meals, she brings earth-centered healing into every family she serves.

With over seven years as a doula and as a newly graduated traditional midwife, she is passionate about supporting families through gentle, faith-centered birth experiences. Guided by her Muslim faith, she believes birth is a sacred process. Known for creating peaceful and reassuring spaces, her love for baking, fitness, and cats reflects the nurturing energy she shares with the families she serves.

Fatimah El
Through her personal Birth Tribe journey, birthwork and holistic healing ignited a deep passion for supporting families. A Reiki Master and homebirther with a background in data science and birth documentation, she blends spiritual support with detail-centered care. Growing up surrounded by medicine, she always knew she was called to be a healer.
Second (2) Year Traditional Midwife Apprentice
Anthonyque Turner (Nyque)
Drawing from her background in mental and emotional wellness, she focuses on supporting whole-family healing through balanced nutrition, movement, and herbal blends. Her mantra — "Labor is progressing every day, let's get ready" — reflects her calming approach. Her passions include cooking, astrology, massage therapy, and holistic practices.
